About the Competition

The Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati has served the Muslim community of the tri-state area for decades — in worship, education, and gathering.
This competition extends that mission to the Qur'an itself: encouraging memorization and refining recitation. It is open to reciters of every level — from a single Juz to the ḥāfiẓ who carries the entire Book.
In one day, 5 groups — defined by the amount of Qur'an recited — will be adjudicated by a panel of 33 qualified judges, culminating in an awards ceremony for the community.
